In November and December 2009 Dejan was performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, op. 58
on a highly successful 12-concert national tour of Australia
with the Australian Chamber Orchestra led by Richard Tognetti.
Their Sydney concert was recorded live by Channel Classics
and the CD will be released in January 2011.

Channel Classics 20th anniversary gala
On May 24 Channel Classics celebrated with all their artists its 20th anniversary at the Frits Philips Music Center in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Dejan contributed with a Brahms-Workshop, giving some insight into the process of his arrangement of Brahms Violin Concerto and performed at the Gala Concert some solo and chamber music with Zen Hu, violin and Paolo Giacometti, piano. This spring Dejan could be heard on several occasions in North and South America: after successful US-concerts with Atlanta, Seattle, Indianapolis and Pacific Symphonies, he traveled to Brazil for performances with Orquestra Sinfonica do Estado de Sao Paulo.
Dejan received the 'ECHO Klassik' Award 2009
Dejan Lazic received the prestigious German 'ECHO Klassik' Award 2009 in the category 'Best Piano Concerto Recording (20th and 21st Century)' for his live recording of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 with London Philharmonic Orchestra under Kirill Petrenko.

in 2009 he has completed his six-year-long project, an arrangement of the beloved Brahms Violin Concerto for Piano and Orchestra - after Bach and Beethoven, who arranged their own Violin Concertos as Piano Concertos, here we have now the third great 'B' in such an arrangement!
The World Premiere took place on October 1, 2009 in Atlanta, USA. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and their music director Robert Spano joined Dejan and repeated the concert on October 2 & 3. Channel Classics was there to record this World Premiere live...

RELEASE Of RACHMANINOV'S 2ND PIANO CONCERTO
Dejan's Rachmaninov-CD with London Philharmonic Orchestra under Kirill Petrenko has been released on Channel Classics in 2009 and has received among others the prestigious German 'ECHO Klassik' Award! Rachmaninov's famous 2nd Piano Concerto, recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall in London, is being paired with his "Moments Musicaux" op. 16. The disc has already got rave reviews worldwide and on January 27, 2009 Dejan presented the disc on ZDF, Germany's national TV station, performing live in the studio.
