Dejan performs his “Piano Concerto in Istrian Style” with Atlanta Symphony & Robert Spano

This October Dejan returns to Atlanta to perform his Piano Concerto in Istrian Style, Op. 18, with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and their music director Robert Spano.

In July 2014 Dejan gave the world premiere of his own Piano Concerto in Istrian Style, op. 18, at the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen (CO), USA, with the Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Robert Spano.

In the article published in International Piano Magazine’s November/December 2014 issue, he shares his experience of writing and premiering his first large-scale work.

In Autumn 2015 he performed the Overture from this concerto with both, Royal Scottish National Orchestra & Thomas Sondergard in three concerts in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, UK, as well as with Turku Philharmonic Orchestra & Kazuki Yamada in Turku, Finland.

This will be the ASO premiere of this concerto.
